Pricing and Additional Info

  • Rental prices include all fees and administrative charges, and use of available Museum furniture. Also included are services of security, maintenance and coat-check staff, as well as a day-of events coordinator. There may be an additional fee for A/V equipment. Catering, catering equipment and linens are not included. However, you are welcome to pick a caterer of your choosing, or select from one of our recommended vendors.
  • The Children’s Museum serves the community.  So, we are not generally be able to accommodate full buy-outs (complete closure of the Museum) during normal operating hours unless it is determined that the funds raised will more than offset public disappointment and inconvenience. The cost to close exhibits during public hours is priced to accommodate the commensurate reduction in admission and the need to notify the public in advance. As a result, the cost to rent exhibit spaces during public hours is likely to be higher than $10,000.
  • We do not have an events kitchen or any large, open-plan floor space. As a result, sit-down dinners are not possible.
  • Recurring rentals, such as those required for weekly classes, are not permitted due to the changing availability of our spaces.
